What we teach children is not brute force, not violence, but the cultivation of ki through mind-body training which will eventually build confidence, self-esteem and a sense of control over their lives. — Kisshomaru Ueshiba

randori

The children's class is taught each Saturday morning by Dave Millar and a number of the dojo's yudansha (black belt students). A teens/tweens class meets on Tuesdays, from 5:30 - 6:25 p.m.

Children test for promotion as they become more comfortable on the mat and learn fundamental aikido principles. Promotion is based on self-discovery as much as on technical progress.

Please contact Dave Millar for further details.
